Scholarships & Bursaries
Many scholarships and bursaries are not based solely on academics, but on community service and extra-curricular activities. Over the years, GSS students have earned many of these awards. Students are encouraged to attend information meetings about scholarships in the spring. As well, students should check post-secondary school websites for scholarship information.

1. Schulich Leadership Scholarship - Application due January 5, 2025

2. The Construction, Maintenance & Allied Workers Union of the Kootenay Region
Bursary for studetns in trades - Application due April 25
3. BC Scholarship Society Awards
Awards for Indigenous students and students studying outside of Canada. See link for applicaton dates.
4. Neil Muth Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is for people who have triumphed over adversity and wish to pursue post-secondary education. This is an opportunity for someone to demonstrate their individual determination, future goals and self-motivation. It is evaluated on merit and not on academic achievements.
