Golden Secondary School is fortunate to be able to offer our Outdoor Education program.  Living in an area that provides endless opportunities for outdoor pursuits makes our program one of the most diverse in British Columbia.

Since 2022, GSS has been offering a full time Outdoor Education Academy where students  have the opportunity to spend a semester immersed in the outdoors while receiving credits for English, Digital Media, Physical Education and Outdoor Education. Enrollment is limited and a fee applies.   

For 2025/26, the enrollment fee for GSS students will be $950.

For International Students, the fee is $1250.

The fee helps to cover the cost of running the program as well as paying for any certifications that students are eligible to receive.
