The GSS French department aims to engage students in learning experiences through which they can become proficient users of French, gain new perspectives, and engage with Francophone communities.
Late Immersion French is also available. Students enroll in this program beginning in Grade 4 and carry on through to graduation where they receive a double dogwood diploma. Late Immersion courses include Francais Langue Seconde 10-12, Social Studies and a French elective.French 8-12 is offered for non french immersion students.
